Job Description:

As a UX/UI Designer at Surge, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the user experience and user interface of our digital products. You will work closely with our executive team, branch office managers, internal departments, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive and engaging designs. Your role will involve conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on designs based on feedback to deliver the best possible user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-fidelity user interfaces that are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation of the design is in line with the vision and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI design work.
  • 8-10 years+ proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software is a plus.
