McKinley Marketing Partner's client is looking for a UX designer to join their team. The designer will lead brainstorming sessions, generate mock-ups in Figma, and present prototypes to leadership.
This is a hybrid position, 3 days in office at their Hanover, MD location. Tuesdays and Thursdays must be in person.
Responsibilities
- Create content webpages, such as articles and success stories using templated structures and update existing pages across 27 websites
- Build customized designs and experiences through Figma for the website based on heavy research of competitors, using best practices for UI/UX including, mobile and responsive site design and present to leadership
- Assist in maintaining a component library within Figma
- Successfully coordinate projects across functional teams with strong project management skills
- Work with their translation vendor for translations across all their brands
- Manage the intake forms from the business for changes needed to the website
- Manage intake of web leads
- Maintain the site architecture document that houses all pages on the website
- Ability to size and source images for the website that's on brand
- Test all webpages for accessibility and make recommendations on things to change as needed
- Gather reporting from GA4 and Sitecore to be able to tell a full story based on new designs and web pages
- Proactively research competitive landscapes to learn new tools, new skills and new aspects of marketing and design
- Collaborate with back-end web developers, Sitecore admins, graphic designers and copywriters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in web design (or UI/UX), graphic design, communications, or a related field or 5+ years of experience
- Developed skills in organization and project management
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong design and typography skills
- A solid understanding of graphic design, web technologies and wireframing tools within Figma
- Understanding of web markup, including HTML
- Extensive capabilities in the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Figma
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Understanding of Google Analytics
