Our Consumer Electronics client is seeking a Senior Design Technologist to join their team. Responsibilities Include: Delivers highly crafted, vision-setting prototypes for mobile experiences where product design, strategy, features, and technology approach may not be defined. Develops complex prototypes (e.g. products, major features) and provides technical expertise on UX solutions that raise the bar on quality and set a world-class consumer experience standard that sets us apart from competitors. Can lead a team to execute on a brand-defining standard. Impacts CX and usability for a product or major feature set. Products/features are often strategic initiatives. Influences decisions about implementation. Capable of building solutions for complex technical problems, often at the architectural level. Engineering partners trust proposed technical solutions. Leads projects to improve prototyping workflow and operational excellence best practices on team. Creates tools and services to increase team output. Detailed knowledge of team prototyping platform(s). Makes UX and technical trade-offs between short-term team needs and long-term business needs. Inspires the direct team's UX strategy and may influence UX features or technology owned by other teams.
***This entire role will focus on UI coding, prototyping, and creating pixel perfect screens for a mobile application, this is NOT a UX Designer - can be a UX Engineer***
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience developing consumer-grade frontend experiences for Mobile apps, web and other platforms.
- An online portfolio with demonstrated evidence of shipping world-class customer experiences that have made a significant impact on business metrics Mastery of prototyping, motion, mobile design patterns that have helped a team increase it's craft in product experiences
- A deep commitment to craft & product excellence
- Strong organization and execution skills to manage large scale projects and work across design and engineering teams
- Skilled at managing and influencing senior leaders to help teams progress quickly A bias for action in developing new ideas from inception to launch
