Candidates should have 3-5 years of electrical/electronic technician experience in a manufacturing environment.Job Description : Sr. Electronics Technician Job Summary: Applies principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing to support manufacturing test engineering initiativesJob Responsibilities Responsible for supporting legacy test stations, both hardware and software that are being utilized in a production environment or at service centers. Perform root cause analysis on Production failures Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of highly complex technical tasks which require a substantial understanding of engineering techniques and all technical objectives Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative Perform as member of a technical team utilizing effective communication skills Utilizes automated test or design software. Highly proficient at data analysis using required software tools. Is viewed as a technical resource to others. Conducts engineering tests and analyzes data to support recommended design changes when applicable. Works from minimal documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts and plans often requiring interpretation Applies significant electronic theory to configure, model, layout, prototype, build, test, troubleshoot, determine solutions and modify electronic product for engineering efforts applicable to the department or program charter. May assist engineers with design and development of new processes and/or productsRequired Skill Set : Have good communication, documentation, and collaboration/teamworkDesired Skills Set : Have domain knowledge of avionics products Programming experience (LabView, C, C#, Test Stand). Perform electrical and electronics test equipment troubleshooting and repair. Demonst***s good problem solving skills and ability to learn and apply skillsets to different situations.
