Hiring Immediately – Utilities Maintenance Technician – Paris, TXInergroup is hiring immediately for a Utilities Maintenance Technician job in Paris, TX. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. If you possess expertise in performing preventative maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and control systems, we want to hear from you! Weekly pay starting at $30/hr and great benefits available!Responsibilities:
- Perform or assist with all major and minor electrical repairs including 480V 3-phase motor repairs/installation, motor starter circuit repairs
- Troubleshoot difficult maintenance problems that occur throughout the plant with a major emphasis on electrical problems, to include A.C. and D.C. drives, PLC (programmable logic controllers) as well as basic motor control circuits.
- Examine mechanical equipment to diagnose problems. Disassemble, repair/replace and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment including such devices as motors, conveyors, pumps, belts, chains, etc.
- Monitor and inspect equipment, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions, and to ensure that facilities equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Conducts scheduled safety checks and PMs of utility/facilities related equipment.
- Manage contractors to complete equipment repairs and/or preventive maintenance tasks
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
- Requires two-years' as a Maintenance Technician or four-years' Industrial maintenance experience
- Must be knowledgeable (mechanical/electrical), welding, using shop equipment, and fabrication.
- An electrical background with experience in troubleshooting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated problem solving and electrical and mechanical skills are also required.
- 2 - 4 years boiler experience is preferred. But not required.
- Basic mechanical skills with pneumatics and hydraulic systems. Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment when needed.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical devices and apparatus with skills in repairing mechanical equipment.
