We are looking for qualified candidates nationwide as this position can be based our Plano, TX, Torrance, CA, Newark, NJ or Atlanta, GA office.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of benchmarking and ESG projects, delivering them on time, on budget, and with technical proficiency
- Oversee benchmarking/ESG data collection and processing, site visits, and report writing
- Oversee quality control to ensure consistency and compliance as related to the collection, review, and processing of utility and other site data
- Perform benchmarking checklists, property resiliency and decarbonization studies, and report on GHG emissions
- Oversee Energy Star Portfolio Manager, CBECS reporting, and other data management activities
- Consult with clients to assist them in the development and execution of their benchmarking/ESG initiatives
- Maintain target utilization rate
- Promote teamwork and champion company mission and values
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Knowledge and understanding of industry ESG standards such as GRI, TCFD, and SASB
- Prior experience with utility benchmarking and reporting
- 2+ years of client and project management experience
- 2+ years client management experience
- Experience working with utility companies and benchmarking programs
- Experience working with Energy Star portfolio Manager
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in ESG for commercial real estate applications
- 2+ years of experience with top ESG reporting frameworks such as CDP, GRESB, and UNPRI
- Experience reporting for GRESB, EnergyStar, and CBECS
- Experience developing and implementing ESG initiatives and climate resiliency strategies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Excellent math and problem solving skills
- Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines
- Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision
- Passion for ESG, sustainability and energy efficiency
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to work outdoors and in unconditioned rooms on occasion
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time both in and out of state
