In this role, you will assist in managing utility relocation coordination associated with transportation improvement projects. The Utility Coordinator will assist in all aspects of utility relocation coordination, including utility conflict evaluation, existing utility information reviews, compensable rights determinations, utility owner coordination, and utility plan reviews. This position has excellent potential for career advancement. Key Responsibilities
- Proficient in interpreting government specifications, policies, and legislation.
- Accurately read and analyze civil roadway plans.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Capable of working effectively within a team setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or under executive guidance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1+ years of related utility or roadway design/construction experience.
- CAD (Microstation and/or Autocad) experience required.
- HS diploma, Associates Degree in Drafting, Engineering Design or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
