As a result, a full-time position is available for a Utility Coordinator! This opportunity is available in Raleigh, NC office.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the design of water/wastewater and other civil engineering projects
* Coordinating with multiple utility owners, SCDOT, NCDOT, municipalities and regulatory agencies
* Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects
* Preparing design computations and quantity estimates
* Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department
* Directing and supervising other project staffs' activities
* Responsible to project manager and/or project team for quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual
* Visiting project site(s) to gather data
* Attending project coordination meetings - days or nights
* Performing lead function with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
* May perform project management duties on certain projects
The successful candidate will have the following background:
* Bachelors degree in engineering or related field from an accredited 4-year college or university and a minimum of 4 years experience
* Valid driver's license
