Other duties may be assigned as dictated by operational necessity.• Planning and Design of utility capital projects.• Leads planning studies as required for water and wastewater utility operations and regulatory compliance.• Assists in supervising projects in construction phase and serves as liaison between developers, engineers and contractors.• Assists in the preparation of bid documents.• Prepares and coordinates permit applications for submittal to various State and Federal agencies.• Attends public hearings and meetings.• Reviews construction plans submitted by Developer's Engineer for Utility Plan Approval.• Updates Geographical Information system (GIS) for the Utility Department.Typical Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty or responsibility satisfactorily.
