We are seeking an experienced Utility Locator with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a variety of utilities. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a clear background, and the ability to pass a drug test. A company vehicle will be provided for this role.This position will be involve a lot of field work and traveling to different sites in the DMV area.
Work Authorization: Due to the Rules and Regulations and Requirements from the US Govt and our Client - Candidates must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship or US Govt Permanent Resident Day to Day
- Conduct utility locating for gas and electric utilities with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality of data collected.
- Understand and interpret utility and civil drawings and blueprints.
- Maintain a daily production rate of 1,000 + linear feet of utilities, including sketching.
- Document and organize project correspondence such as field sketches, H&V controls, utility plans, and all field-related support data and permits.
Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on professional experience and knowledge in utility locating procedures.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass both a background check and a drug test.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for 8+ hours, including carrying 40lbs or more, standing for prolonged periods, and crouching or kneeling.
- Ability to understand utility/civil drawings and blueprints.
