Work involves cleaning boilers and plant areas; and assisting utility plant operators in lubricating, adjusting, and repairing boilers and related equipment.Work may require maintaining simple records. Work is assigned and closely reviewed for conformance with instructions and safe operations by a shift or technical supervisor ..This is a training position and it is anticipated at the conclusion of a probationary period of at least six months the individual will be able to perform work at the Utility Plant Operator 1 level.Required Skills, Knowledge & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively in writing.Ability to communicate effectively orally.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsMinimum of Education / TrainingRequired Education Summary Preferred QualificationsPrior experience with systems related to steam, electric and/or plumbing.Physical Demands Work Location Clarion Campus Is travel to other PennWest campuses required for this position?
