Your Impact
  • The Utility team member is accountable for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all food pans, sheet pans, food racks, cooking utensils, kitchenware, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. Ensures areas used to complete these tasks are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Additional duties include unloading, organization, rotation, and label and dating of stock following HACCP procedures.
Job duties include:
  • Load, run, and unload the dish machine
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for service and kitchen areas
  • Bag and haul trash and cardboard at designated times
  • Handle dishware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Properly FIFO new items brought into the operation
  • Follow all receiving logs and properly take temperature upon receiving deliveries
  • Keep splash guards and food containers cleaned and rotated
  • Monitor refrigerator/freezer temperatures to ensure food safety policies are being maintained
What you will need
  • No minimum experience needed.
  • Must have valid California Food Handlers card or obtain within seven days of hire.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Essential requirements are a positive attitude, drive, and self-accountability.
  • The ability to work as a part of a team is non-negotiable.
  • Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
  • Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
