The City of Wrens is taking applications for a Utility Worker in the Public Works Department.

Starting salary considered is $16.54 per hour and is commensurate with experience and skills plus benefits.

Major duties include:

• Repairs and maintains natural gas lines, gas infrastructure, gas equipment.
• Repairs and maintains water/sewer lines, water/sewer infrastructure, water/sewer equipment.
• Repairs and maintains city streets, city right of way, city buildings, city property.
• Repairs and maintains city lawn care and city lawn care equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment and dump truck, as necessary.
• Requires skill with hand tools and power tools.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
