SUMMARY
The Utility Person is responsible for assisting the parts departments by stocking and/or pulling inventory. Will also be responsible delivering parts to customer's job sites; as well as maintaining parts departments housekeeping.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. * Assist the parts departments with stocking and pulling inventory.
* Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
* Deliver parts to customer's job sites, collect necessary documentation and payment.
* Perform miscellaneous clean-up of the parts department and maintain contamination control standards.
* Must be able to perform general labor duties as required.
* Follow all safety procedures.
* Take care of environmental concerns.
* Operate forklift to operate essential functions of the job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of experience in heavy duty parts department warehouse, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
* Ability to write simple correspondence.
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and apply basic math functions.

* Has basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents and enter database information.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
