Official Title: Assistant Wrestling CoachLocation: University of Wisconsin Oshkosh - Oshkosh, WIWorking Title: Assistant Men's Wrestling CoachCompensation: $33,000UW Oshkosh provides a competitive benefits package for all benefit-eligible positions.Responsibilities:Assist in planning and organizingin-season practice sessions.Facilitating academic meetings and grade checks for student-athletes.Assist in competition day planning and set-up.Assist in oversight of all practices and competitions.Assisting in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes on and off campus, recruiting effectively in guidelines set by the University, Conference, and the NCAA.Assist with alumni relations and community outreach.Work with marketing team on game day environment and community outreach initiatives.Assist in planning and organization of camps and clinics.Assist in fundraising efforts for the program and the Athletics department.Assist in planning and organizing off-season conditioning programs.Other duties as assigned by head coach and/or athletics department.Game management and other duties as assigned by athletics department.Assist in developing and maintaining an effective and competitive intercollegiate wrestling program through the recruitment of quality student athletes and successful coaching of those individuals. In the recruitment effort, the incumbent will be a representative of the total institution, with all of the factual knowledge and sensitivities required by that representative.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree.Demonstrated knowledge of collegiate wrestling coaching.Demonstrate understanding of the NCAA Division III philosophy.Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.Valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one.Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Be a person of high moral character.Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and be able to work with diverse populations, including but not limited to people of all ages with various ethnicities, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic backgrounds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
