Parking is what we do, our values are who we are.OverviewThe Hospital Valet position is a high profile, customer service position. Individuals must be personable and compassionate, as they serve patients and visitors of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital patient care facilities. Valets must adhere to Cornerstone standards of employee conduct. This position will also assist with traffic control in the drive lane areas.Watch a short video from our Valet team!ShiftMonday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMResponsibilitiesProvide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service by greeting and assisting valet customers with opening/closing car doors, providing wheelchairs as needed, providing information and directions, etc.Follow damage check procedures for valet vehiclesSafely and efficiently park and retrieve vehicles from assigned parking areasKeep traffic moving and drive lanes/fire lanes clearAdherence to HIPAA guidelinesReport to work on time and for your scheduled shifts. Maintaining an acceptable attendance record as defined by Cornerstone Parking Group is a key component to this positionReport to work in proper uniformOther responsibilities as neededBenefits$13.00/hour + tips. Valets can earn $14-$16.00 per hour with tips. Tips are not a guarantee and will vary.PTO Accrual401(k)Uniform providedMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance is available after 60 days for full time employees (30 hours/week)Comprehensive, paid trainingRewarding and fun work environmentOpportunities for advancementRequirements:18 years of age or olderValid driver's license, responsible driving recordCustomer service skillsAbility to drive a manual transmission vehicle, strongly preferredDriving and parking vehicles of varying sizesMinimum one year customer service experiencePossess a strong desire to serve and care for valet customersConsistently demonstrate courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers, colleagues, management and leadership teams, and our clientHigh standard of integrity; reliable, responsiblePhysical demandsAble to stand, walk, and jog for extended periods of time (including moving up and down stairs on a regular basis). Being on your feet and moving accounts for approximately 95% of time during shift, depending on parking volume, day of the week, time of day and locationAbility to work in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.Able to read, write, comprehend and converse in the English language
