Location: New Baltimore,MI, USA
Responsibilities/Duties:
* Prep units for assembly.
* Assembles valves, controls, servos and subassemblies using required parts and components in a cost-effective manner to conform to installation and performance.
* Preforms basic conversions on units within the department
* Testing of valves, controls and subassemblies
* Follows standard work instructions
Education/Experience:
* The ability to repair electronics, servos and circuit boards is a plus.
* Ability to learn basic hydraulic knowledge extending over several product lines within the department.
* Ability to make part quality decisions during process
* Introduction SAP
* Introduction to both micrometers and caliper measuring tools
* Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* Attention to detail
Personal Protective Equipment:
* Safety Glasses and steel/safety toed work boots are required.
* Other PPE equipment as required.
* Ear plugs in the cleanup area
Work Environment:
* Manufacturing plant shop environment
* Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
* Exposure to elements such as odor, hydraulic fluids, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.
