Valve Technician – Port Allen

EVALUATION HIRE

$18-$25 / hr.

Day Shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with overtime and weekends

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring a valve technician for a client located in Port Allen. They Are a company that specializes in rebuilding and distributing relief valves for companies around Louisiana. The role of the valve technician is to install, maintain, inspect, test, and repair valves that control the flow of oil, gas, and other fluids in industrial and commercial systems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for the Valve Technician:

• Rebuilding, repairing, and restoring industrial valves.
• Using common hand tools to break down and rebuild industrial relief valves
• Sandblasting valves
• Must be 21 years old
• Assist with other tasks as needed, must work well with in a team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Knowing of Tools is a must
• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable working with their hands.
• Sandblasting
• TWIC and OSHA are not needed right away but will be needed in the future.
• High School diploma / GED
