Job Overview:We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Van Driver to join our dynamic Youth Community Services team in Sedalia, Missouri! In this role, you will transport clients to and from appointments, ensure their safety during transportation, and maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the van. Key Responsibilities:- Safely transport clients to and from appointments, following a set schedule
- Ensure client safety during transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Report any suspicious activity while transporting clients
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as trip logs and maintenance reports
- Keep the van clean and well-maintained, arranging for routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Follow written procedures for handling emergencies
- Communicate any mechanical or other issues with the van to the Director immediately
Requirements:- Valid Missouri Class E Driver's License with a good driving record
- Eligibility to be included on the company insurance policy for van drivers
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Acceptable past driving history
- For those transporting children, a minimum of 5 years of background history and a background check from each state (other than MO)
- High school diploma or GED, and at least 23 years old (required for insurance purposes)
