Operate University vehicles to provide safe transportation of faculty, staff, students and guests to on and off campus locations as assigned. Education/ Experience High School Diploma plus two years commercial, professional driving experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid drivers license along with a good driving record, and must be insurable. Must be drug free and pass random drug tests as required by the Department of Transportation Knowledge/ Skills/ Ability Ability to safely operate multi passenger vehicle in strict compliance with State regulations while maintaining professional courtesy with all passengers. Ability to write detailed and accurate reports. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and make logical decisions. Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
