VARSITY FOOTBALL HEAD COACH

Season Start Date: August 24, 2024

Season Duration: Approximately 8-10 weeks

Practices: 5-6 days per week (3:30 pm start once school begins)

Primarily 9th - 12th grade students

Starting Stipend/Step Range: $6,435-$8,565

Requirements

* Successful coaching experience

* A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes

* Personal traits appropriate for nurturing the growth of children

* First Aid/CPR/AED for Coaches Certification

* Violence Prevention Certification

* CDC - Heads Up Concussion Certification

* NYSED Teaching or Coaching License

* NYSED Fingerprint Clearance

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

* Work with the assistant coaches with practice, game schedules, and inventory

* Supervision of students

* Oversight of the development and progress of each child

* Communication with parents

* Collaborative work with Athletic Department colleagues, faculty, staff, & the school community
