POSITION: Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

CONTRACT: Length of the Season

SUPERVISOR: Athletic Director

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Hold structured practices appropriate for skill level of players

* Develop and implement strategy for competition situations

* Follow policies and procedures set forth by school district and Athletic Director

* Supervise student-athletes from the time the first participant reports until the last player leaves after an event or practice

* Actively participate with the Athletic Boosters

* Maintain current inventory of equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Previous coaching experience

* Proven ability to work cooperatively with student-athletes

* Proven ability to act in a professional manner in adverse situations

* Advanced knowledge of the sport and its techniques

* Willingness and desire to be involved in all aspects of building a successful program

* Willingness to work/cooperate with coaching staff
