All Positions - Knowledge of the following pertaining to the sport to be coached; athletic fundamentals and techniques; practice techniques and organization; and contest strategies
- Employment which allows attendance at scheduled practice times
- Ability to have good rapport and positive relationships with student-athletes and parents
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational and leadership skills
- Required to receive and maintain current CPR/AED certification
- Required to successfully complete both CAP I and Cap II training within one year of initial hire date
Varsity Coach Positions Only - Ability to develop/oversee/maintain a successful interscholastic program in the sport to be coached
- Experience coaching the sport
