Tri-Township Schools is seeking an experienced and passionate Girls Volleyball Varsity Coach to lead our high school team. This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment for our student-athletes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, and a deep understanding of volleyball coaching techniques and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement practice plans that enhance team skills, strategy, and performance.
* Instruct and motivate players to improve their individual and team skills.
* Foster a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and commitment both on and off the court.
* Plan and lead conditioning, drills, and game preparation.
* Analyze game performance and adjust strategies as necessary to enhance team effectiveness.
* Manage team communications, including schedules, policies, and expectations.
* Collaborate with the Athletic Director on team budgets, equipment, and program needs.
* Maintain a safe environment that adheres to health and safety protocols.
* Mentor and support student-athletes in their academic and personal growth.
Qualifications:
* Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
* Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, strategies, and safety guidelines.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work with diverse groups of students and foster a positive team environment.
Requirements:
* Must pass a background check as required by the school district.
* Availability for practices and games.
* Commitment to upholding Tri-Township Schools' values and code of conduct for student-athletes.
Compensation:
* Stipend based on teacher's master contract.
