As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations to diagnose vascular diseases.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, including carotid, peripheral arterial and venous, and abdominal vascular studies.
- Analyze ultrasound images to identify abnormalities and prepare detailed reports.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification required.
- 2-3 years of experience in vascular ultrasound preferred.
- Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
