Job Summary of the Vascular TechnologistResponsible for performing diagnostic procedures through the use of ultrasonography techniques to include to perform vascular exams. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation by a Cardiologist/Radiologist. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services.Qualifications of the Vascular Technologist

EDUCATION:

• Certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound.
• Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound

EXPERIENCE:

• One year of vascular imaging experience/ultrasound experience.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Preferred: ARDMS in AB, OB/GYN and/or BR or RDCS by ARDMS or CCI
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
