Job Overview This position requires a person who can coordinate across the business units and senior leaders to align strategic decisions. This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to drive the development of a growing business and big picture thinking. Candidates must be eager to learn and thrive in an innovative business environment. This role will require a person who can support various strategic initiatives such as outlining a career pathing model across 50+ roles, forecasting and tracking headcount needs, refining the structure and processes involved with individual entitlements as well as annual budgeting exercise. Additionally, the individual will be expected to identify opportunities to optimize and streamline processes across a number of areas. The role is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvements, analyzing data sets leading to proposals and coordinating strategic decisions and updates across a large number of stakeholders. This individual will be an active participant in analysis, decision making, high-level meetings and problem solving. This position is an on-site / in office role located in either New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver strategic initiatives and projects related to process improvements
  • Analyze data sets that provide leadership with insights and contribute to strategic decisions
  • Create effective communications and presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Solve complex problems with a view of the big picture
  • Ability to work proactively and in a team environment to deliver business results in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of key deliverables
  • Ability to lead and keep initiatives on track
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Any experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines
  • Proficient organization and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Any experience analyzing data sets using MS Excel
  • Experience identifying and developing process improvements
Soft Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, agile, and adaptable
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $57,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
