Murdoch Center is recruiting for a Vehicle Operator I within our Print Shop department. The primary purpose of this position is to safely and efficiently transport mail, packages, documents, medical records, and lab specimen to destinations that include but is not limited to financial institutions, hospitals, and allied health agencies. In addition, this position will pick-up and deliver expedited intra office mail. The person in this position also provides direct client care by providing vocational supervision and training to clients in supported employment with the delivery service. Additional responsibilities may include sorting and collating intra office mail/packages for distribution.

Scheduled Work Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance, paid sick/vacation/holidays, retirement, etc.

* Communicate effectively with Center staff

* Perform routing vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
