Emergency Vehicle Technician Location: Horseheads, NY Salary: $18 - $22 per hour (DOE) - Willing to pay more for highly skilled candidates Job Overview: We are seeking skilled and experienced Emergency Vehicle Technicians for our client in the Horseheads, NY area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that specializes in the maintenance, repair, and computerized diagnosis of emergency vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repair on emergency vehicles, including medium/heavy-duty trucks. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and computerized systems. Ensure all work is performed to industry standards and in compliance with safety regulations. Provide exceptional service and communicate effectively with the team and clients. Maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Two years of journeyman-level experience in the maintenance, repair, and computerized diagnosis of medium/heavy-duty trucks OR an associate's degree in automotive technology or a related field. Must provide own tools. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred. Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
