What you will be doing as the Vendor Management Compliance Specialist:

  • Overall responsibility for administration of the Vendor Management (VM) Policy and Program.
  • Processes, refers and reviews contracts for services.
  • Determines referral items to Legal and Sourcing.
  • Trains individuals/departments for Vendor Management process.
  • Designs materials for VM Intranet site.
  • Responsible for the OCC and internal audit process for Vendor Management.
  • Prepares all materials and reports for the Vendor Management Committee meetings. Must be knowledgeable of the OCC guidance for vendor management which establishes specific rules and guidelines.
  • Works closely with Risk to determine vendor compliance.
  • Administrator of the vendor management database. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Direct and manage contract owners regarding their contracts and statements of work for services.
  • Direct contract owners regarding the required contract due diligence.
  • Track contracts through the referral and review process.
  • Enter vendor contracts and due diligence items into the VM database.
  • Administrator/Representative for Company for the Staples office supply program. Monitors on-line site, interacts with Staples representative to determine cost savings programs for ordering products from staples. Negotiated the contract between Staples and Company.

What you will need as the Vendor Management Compliance Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, four year college or university with an emphasis in business, finance or equivalent.
  • 2 years of current experience in Vendor/Contract Management for a Financial Institution
  • Knowledge and experience in working with vendor sourcing and risk compliance with a thorough understanding of the OCC guidance governing Vendor Management for Financial Institutions.
  • Above average knowledge of Vendor Management Policies and Procedures.
  • Proven Time Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Working experience of Vendor Management software.
  • Excellent organizational and planning, skills
  • Good presentation and communication skills with above average written communication skills
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated and ability to multi-task
