Job Description Summary: As a Vendor Management Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations with our test delivery vendors. From analyzing vendor performance metrics to managing budgets and resolving operational challenges, you'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver exceptional service.This role is perfect for someone who is highly analytical, thrives on problem-solving, and is ready to make recommendations that shape strategic decisions.This position is located in Charlottesville and is eligible for flexible working. Candidates based within Central Virginia, VA would be ideal to accommodate the flexibility of in office and remote working.Job Description:What You'll Be Doing:
  • Vendor Performance Analysis: Collect and analyze data to evaluate vendor performance against SLAs. Use Tableau to create dashboards that provide actionable insights for stakeholders. Present findings and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Work with FP&A to prepare and monitor budgets, track vendor spending, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Support long-term planning and forecasting for proctored exam programs.
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage contracts, statements of work, and key operational documentation. Monitor vendor deliverables, identify challenges, and implement timely solutions.
  • Capacity Planning: Perform essential tasks to ensure test center availability and optimal resource allocation.
  • Strategic Contribution: Partner with the Director to set goals, refine processes, and contribute to innovative solutions that drive success.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a general business setting.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Lookups/Pivot Tables/Macros) are a must- Tableau expertise is preferred. Python, SQL, and Salesforce experience are a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a knack for translating data into impactful insights.
  • A proactive problem solver with a flexible approach to juggling priorities.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to ask questions and offer creative ideas.
