New Stack Ventures is seeking a Full-Time Analyst. This individual will be responsible for assisting the General Partner and his team with the following:

• Assisting the General Partner with all aspects of qualification and targeting in fundraising efforts
• Dealflow evaluation
• Applying pre-filters, evaluation criteria and meeting with founders
• Series A strategy for Portco's
• Creation of next round fundraising strategy for our investments
• Deal Management
• “Quarterbacking” the deal process
• Review, edit and supplement deal investment thesis
• Work with investment partners, lawyers, AngelList, Assure and syndicate members during the startup investment process

The candidate will not be reviewing business plans/pitch decks exclusively. The candidate will have exposure to all aspects of a firm: branding, sourcing, raising and investing.

Prospective candidates should have the following characteristics:

• High-interest in Venture Capital
• Requires little oversight, hand-holding
• High emotional intelligence
• Comfortable connecting with partners over email and phone
• Strong networking and sales skills
