The Sayre Hospitality Group is seeking to hire a supervisor for event set-ups & tear-downs at our company venues. In this position, the team member will oversee the setup of events and provide support to the catering team at the three Sayre Hospitality Group event venues: Greystone Event Centerin Wooster, Waters Edge Event Center in Ashland, and White Oak Event Center located at The Pines in Orrville; specific duties include:Ensuring venue setup meets the expectations of the client (table placement, chairs, etc.)Overseeing the execution of set-up plans by set-up team membersSetting up assigned event with all the needed props, culinary equipment, and linensProviding client with suggestions and feedback for a smooth and efficient setup experienceTearing down equipment/set-up items after an event (either same or next day)Assisting in maintaining and cleaning of props, China, flatware, and other equipmentTo carry out these duties, the successful candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:Reading and interpreting venue setup layoutsWorking independently with little supervision during the setup cycleAbility to work quickly, effectively and efficiently during the setup of an eventAbility to interact with clients and guests in a kind, professional mannerPossession of a valid driver's licenseAbility to be carried on the company's vehicular insuranceAbility to follow directionsTeam playerAbility to lift, move & rotate heavy items, including tables, chairs, China, portable dancefloor, risersJob Type: This is a full-time, year round positionPay range: $18/hour during probationary period with the opportunity to receive an increase in pay after 90 days.Work location: These positions will be assigned to:Greystone Event Center, 50 Riffel Rd., Wooster, OH 44691White Oak Event Center, 1319 Millborne Rd., Orrville, OH 44667#J-18808-Ljbffr
