Veteran Affairs Coordinator in the Registrar's OfficeLocation: Texas Medical Center-Houston, TexasHotCategory: Professional/ManagerialUTHealth Houston General AdministrationRequisition #: 240002AAPosition Summary:The Veterans Affairs Coordinator monitors the university's veteran student services, certifies students for US Department of Veterans Affairs educational benefits, provides program advising for veterans, and assures compliance with federal, state, and institutional directives concerning veteran/dependent educational benefits. The focus of this role is to assist students with accessing veteran benefits such as helping with their benefits specific to veterans.You must have experience dealing with veteran issues, and we prefer candidates who have worked in roles such as a VA Enrollment Manager. This role will work a hybrid schedule once they are trained but will have an office in the Texas Medical Center at our University Center Tower.What we do here changes the world.
