If you have experience working as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), or Peer Support Specialist, then this position may be a great fit for you. This position works on a direct care team that facilitates supportive services for Grant and Per Diem (GPD) participants. Veterans Support Specialists assist Veterans in working towards their goals and achieve as much independence as possible. This includes helping Veterans integrate into transitional housing and maintain their stability while working toward their long-term goals (including housing, sobriety, and daily living skills).Work Schedule:Saturday and Sunday, 12:00pm – 12:00am (Part Time, Swing/Night)What You'll Make$20.00 - $24.00 per hourDOE/Credentials.An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am.Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).About the ProgramThe Veterans Resource Center connects Veterans with the services they need. The VRC is focused on the overall wellness and reintegration of Military Veterans of all eras. With a primary focus on housing assistance, case management, and outreach, we take a holistic approach to addressing the individual needs of each Veteran.ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.What You'll NeedColumbiaCare is looking for a person who shares the goals and philosophy of the company.
