We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Southern New Jersey serving Washington Township. We provide internal medicine, surgery, abdominal and cardiac ultrasound and progressive techniques for complete animal health care. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our animal patients and ensuring their overall well-being. Responsibilities: - Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals - Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases in animals - Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as needed - Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as necessary - Provide guidance and education to pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures - Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients - Maintain accurate medical records for all animals under your care - Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities Experience: - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school - Valid state veterinary license - Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, including aseptic technique, veterinary critical care, animal husbandry, animal handling, and animal care - Experience with laboratory procedures and interpretation of lab results - Proficiency in animal catheterization and other medical procedures - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and staff members - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations If you are a dedicated Veterinarian looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
