Job Description: Practice: Southside Animal Hospital is unique in the South Texas area in that it is the only vet clinic with a wellness waiting and a sick waiting area with an isolation ward. We strive to provide the best medical and veterinary care to our patients. Not only do we have experienced veterinarians on staff, but we also have knowledgeable, compassionate, and experienced personnel to assist our clients and their pets. For this reason, we were the winners of Best of Corpus Christi in 2023! To support our busy and diverse workload, our hospital is ready with plentiful and modern veterinary equipment. We have 5 exam rooms (two with lift tables), a surgery suite with separate dental table, digital radiology (including digital dental rads), ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and more!Position Purpose: We are looking to add an associate veterinarian that loves a fast-paced and steady lifestyle! Our doctors have over a century of combined veterinary experience, so any new graduate or team member will undoubtedly benefit from the diverse knowledge our doctors have to offer. From preventative care, internal medicine, imaging, surgery, to urgent care and behavior, our doctors have seen it all. In addition to our doctors, we have a wonderful and expansive support staff. Each doctor is paired with their own technician and then assisted by floating technicians, so you will never be without a hand. To support our busy and diverse workload, our hospital is ready with plentiful and modern veterinary equipment. We have 5 exam rooms (two with lift tables), a surgery suite with separate dental table, digital radiology (including digital dental rads), ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and more! With the ability to hunt, fish, hike and swim, there is something to do for every outdoor enthusiast!
