Job Description: Practice: At Northwoods Animal Hospital, we strive to offer sound advice and optimal veterinary care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house X-ray capabilities, ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas and grooming services.Position Purpose: What a unique opportunity - to work in a beautiful practice and live in a stunning location. We are a 4-doctor practice utilizing multiple Certified Veterinary Technicians and veterinary assistants to serve our busy practices in three locations. Our growing, small animal practice is fortunate to support services at our primary facility in Minocqua and satellite offices in Manitowish Waters and Eagle River. Although our specialty is companion animals, we are the sponsoring veterinary practice for the Northwoods Wildlife Center so that we have opportunities to see the occasional fox, deer, or owl. Our staff is very friendly, collaborative, and considerate, and our practice is well-equipped, which allows us to treat patients with best-in-class medicine and perform surgeries, including orthopedics and dental procedures.
