Veterinary Assistant County Line Animal Hospital Spring Hill, Florida Part-Time Position (about 29 hours a week) Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in the veterinary industry
  • Knowledge of veterinary industry tools and products
  • Able to multi-task efficiently and effectively
  • Compassionate towards our patients and clients
  • Self-motivating and willing to contribute immediately
  • Team-player willing to continue to learn and further their knowledge
  • Idexx in-house lab equipment knowledge preferred
County Line Animal Hospital is a companion animal hospital located in Spring Hill, Florida. We are located about an hour away from Tampa, Florida. We are actively seeking an experienced veterinary assistant willing to take on dual roles to help grow with our team. The ideal candidate will be willing to work closely with the current veterinarians, tech team, and management. This individual will be confident rooming patients, taking history, and be familiar with preventative medicine like heartworm prevention, vaccines, and the majority of general practice surgeries. They will know how to properly and safely restrain animals, collect samples, confidently document in medical records and understand the importance of daily tasks needed to be performed to maintain a clean and functioning animal facility.
