Overview:
We are searching for a Full Time Veterinary Assistant/ Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team at Phoenixville Animal Hospital! Address: 1121 W. Bridge St. Phoenixville, PA 19460Our compensation package consists of a starting wage as follows:
Veterinary technicians - $19 - $22 with annual bonus opportunities.
Shift Details: We offer a 4 day work week with rotating Saturdays. We are very flexible and will work with you to mutually decide a schedule that works for both of us.
Skills: Proficient with saphenous, jugular and cephalic venipuncture, proficient with IV catheter placement. Client communication and education required.
Role: This is a cruicial role to the success of our veterinary practice. This role will be a dual Veterinary Assistant/ PCC (Patient Care Coodrdinator) role.
Veteirnary Assisting will require venipuncture, restraint, IV catheter placement, running lab equipment and more.
The Patient Care Coordinator stays with the clients from check-in to check out, captures medical notes, creates treatment plans, coordinates treatment with technical teams, and follows up post visit.
Veterinary Office Hours:
Monday 9 - 6:30 pm
Tuesday - Friday 9 - 5pm
Saturday - 9 -1pm
