We are currently looking for an eager, motivated individual to join our Treatment Room Team Full Time! Experience is required!
We are a very fast paced & progressive 7 Doctor practice.
Full time positions include: Full health and ancillary benefits, 401k retirement plan with a match percentage, paid vacation and sick time, and a personal pet discount.
A typical work week consists of 4 days/week with a Saturday rotation required.
Primary Responsibilities for a Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician: Excellent customer service and communication skills/ Basic & advanced restraint for both cats and dogs/ Asssist Veterinarians with exams and procedures/ Surgical prep, assisting, and recovery/Nursing care of hospitalized patients/ Medication administration/ Assisting with radiology and imaging/ Triage assesment of critical patients/ Phlebotomy/ Collecting and preparing lab samples/ Creating treatment estimates and invoicing/ Performing outpatient technician appointments.
The ideal candidate will integrate easily into a large team environment and handle high stress situations with a calm, positive demeanor.
