As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients and supporting our team of veterinarians. Job Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery Provide animal restraint and handling Perform kennel duties and cleaning Assist with surgical preparation and monitoring Administer fluid therapy and medications Conduct preventive care treatments Utilize digital radiography and dental prophylaxis Company Information: Scarsdale Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinarian hospital including a pharmacy, surgery suite with state-of-the-art technology, on-site x-ray capabilities and a supervised recovery area.
