Our hospital in Braintree, Massachusetts was built from the ground up with the vision of veterinary professionals in mind! We have a very close-knit team complete with an extremely warm and friendly staff. We pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy team culture with work-life balance at the top of our priorities. We have a mandatory lunch break daily and foster a very hands-on learning environment. We are open Monday through Friday and are closed every Saturday and Sunday. In addition, we also work closely with many philanthropic organizations.?

Veterinary Assistant

Braintree Veterinary Care in Braintree, MA

Hourly rate: $22.00-$28.00

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Executing treatment orders

Performing blood draws

Collecting urine samples - void, express, cystocentesis

Administering medications - PO, IM, SQ, SL, IV

Keeping cages clean and sanitized

Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals

Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)

Communicating with clients via phone and in-person

Taking Radiographs, CBC, Chem, LYTES, Perform and read urinalysis

Restraining animals

Outpatient procedures

Filling prescribed medications

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent
