Dr. Robert Swinger and his team at Animal Eye Guys teams have provided specialized ophthalmology care and ocular surgery to patients all over South Florida since 2011. With 7 state-of-the-art hospital locations and a (nearly) full team of ACVO certified veterinarians, we work alongside primary care doctors to provide advanced eye-care that is otherwise not generally accessible. This position will primarily serve our Miami Gardens location. (Additional opportunity at Fort Lauderdale location).
Animal Eye Guys are among around 70 specialty centers in PetVet's network of 460+ unique hospitals across the continental United States. You will find our teams in many different facets of veterinary medicine– from feline-only care, to standard small animal general practice, to exotics, large animal, and equine specialty/ambulatory care. Holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree (or ECFVG equivalent) and is in good standing with Florida State Veterinary Board License
Completed a formal ophthalmology residency/is recognized as an ACVO Diplomate
Holds (or is eligible for) an active DEA license
Is as enthusiastic as we are about providing exceptional veterinary care
