West Hills North is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and compassionate individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our busy clinic.As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive teamwork environment where veterinarians and staff deliver quality medicine and exceptional client service. Partnering with the Medical Director (MDVM), you will ensure a profitable operation by growing revenue, managing costs, and fostering a practice culture based on high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional client service while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Partner with Hospital Leadership and the Regional Operations Manager to drive long-term practice vision, goals, and financial success.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team through staff meetings, annual reviews, and ongoing mentorship.
  • Manage financial responsibilities including budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable, pricing, and inventory control.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA and DEA.
  • Address client concerns and manage retention by reinforcing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement policies to improve practice efficiency and performance.
Skills, knowledge & expertise
  • Proven experience as a Veterinary Practice Manager
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, payroll, and financial management.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of veterinary software and systems is a plus.
  • Passion for animal care and excellent customer service.
