It takes pride in creating an unparalleled client experience.This role is ideal for someone seeking a flexible 40-hour schedule with options to work Monday through Friday: 9 am to 6 pm (3 to 4 shifts) or 1 pm to 10 pm (1 to 2 shifts); with rotating Saturdays: 10 am to 7 pm.About Us: ReadiVet was founded as a mobile, in-home veterinary care provider. We ensure that pet owners get access to more clinical expertise while reducing stress for their pets. More than eighty-five percent of our services are provided in the home, while we also offer care in our fully equipped and centrally located clinic for imaging, surgery, and dental procedures.ReadiVet has expanded its offerings to include comprehensive in-clinic urgent care from its hub in Uptown, Dallas. This service ensures we can meet a higher level of pet needs-whether expected or unexpected. - Answering office phone calls and text messages
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing schedules for our mobile and in-clinic urgent care veterinary teams
- Reviewing appointment details with clients
- Educating clients on pricing and procedures
- Efficiently communicating appointment details to veterinarians and technicians
- Sending/responding to emails
Requirements
- 1-3+ year(s) of experience in the veterinary field
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a veterinary/medical receptionist in a multiple-doctor practice
- Veterinary assistant/tech experience preferred
- Experience using veterinary practice management and/or scheduling systems
- Superb phone etiquette and text messaging skills
- A team player, self-motivated, and reliable
- Must be an excellent communicator and comfortable speaking with clients
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. with assistance
