Job Description
Carver Street Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to join our hospital on a full-time basis! We are a well-established small animal veterinary hospital in Durham, NC. Our vibrant team provides high-quality medicine in both an efficient and enjoyable manner!
Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in veterinary medicine (or animal-related field) and is a customer service expert. Previous experience with multi-line phone systems, email, digital faxes, and other communication channels is essential to performing well in this role. As our hospital is growing and adding new technologies, this candidate must be receptive to learning new programs and willing to collaborate to optimize our protocols!
This role's main responsibility is to provide exceptional client service while maintaining a smooth and efficient flow of clients and patients through the animal hospital. This employee is responsible for greeting clients, completing the check-in and check-out process, facilitating client, referring hospital and pharmacy requests, as well as other general clerical duties. Employee knowledge and experience are essential to providing an optimal experience for both our patients and clients!
We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits. Wage is dependent on experience. Schedules vary from 30 to 40 hours a week, with a Saturday rotation every 4-6 weeks.
