At Mother Lode Veterinary Hospital, we are passionate about the care we provide to our patients and clients. We are looking for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant to support our goal of creating healthier lives for our patients and their families.

We pride ourselves on offering compassionate and affordable care while practicing cutting-edge medicine and surgery. We take great pride in working closely with several local rescue groups. In a typical week, we see plenty of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens, as well as the occasional rabbits, guinea pigs, and other pocket pets.

Who are we looking for?

As an experienced veterinary technician or assistant, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Some of the key skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

• Anesthetic Assisting and Monitoring
• Skill in Dentistry
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
• Vaccine knowledge
• Preventative care knowledge

This is a full-time position for an experienced (at least 2 years) veterinary licensed veterinary technician or assistant.

The salary range for this position is $20 - $30 / hour. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
