Position Summary
The Laboratory Animal Facilities at the University at Buffalo is seeking a New York State licensed Veterinary Technician to administer clinical treatments and monitor the health of animals under our care.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Physical exam of incoming animals
* Collection, preparation and testing of biological samples
* Provide technical support to investigators
* Maintain animal health records and supply inventories
* Other animal care related tasks

Minimum Qualifications
* Candidates must have a two year degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent and a current New York State License
* Candidates must have 3 years experience in animal work, in a non-residential setting.
Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands
Must be able to handle large animals.
