Clifton-FineVice (Assistant) Principal/Athletic Director The Clifton-Fine Central School District seeks an energetic leader to fill the position of Vice (Assistant) Principal/Athletic Director. Located in the western side of the Adirondacks and the gateway to the 5 Pond Wilderness Track, Clifton-Fine Central School District is a small, tight knit school that offers big school opportunities for students. The role of Vice Principal/Athletic Director requires a visible, collaborative leader who will continue to support and foster the positive school climate and district initiatives. * Serves as an instructional leader and promotes team work between teachers, staff, and students* Promotes and administers the Clifton-Fine Eagles athletic program* Serves as Principal in the absence of Principal* Guides discipline-related matters in accordance with the student code of conduct* Encourages high standards by fostering programs that support a positive school climate such as student of month or restorative practice as well as one of the team leaders of our active Pupil Personnel Services Team* Assists in the evaluation of staff and faculty* Collaborates with the Principal on testing procedures including Regents exams and/or diagnostic assessments* Assists in hiring of staff Certification:* School Building Leader* School District Administrator* Candidates in an Administrative track of coursework may be considered, including consideration of paid Administrative Internship work. Term:* 10 Month, 20 Days July/August.
